Welcome to the official Holme on Spalding Moor Parish Council Website. Here you will find lots of useful information relating to our village, past, present and future. The Parish Council is non-political and is made up of 13 elected representatives from the Parish. They volunteer their time and local knowledge, deliver the views of the local community and support services that constantly help improve life for our residents.
The Parish Council is also responsible for many aspects of village maintenance, supports the various clubs and organisations as well as making valuable observations in the initial stages of planning applications. We also manage and maintain the Parish Council Cemetery which is located at All Saints Church. We try and ensure that the village is kept as clean and tidy as possible and employ a handyman and litter picker.
This has been a very difficult year for everybody as we faced the constant threat and restrictions to our way of life from COVID 19. Just prior to the first lockdown in March the Parish Council established the COVID 19 Volunteer Group. Many residents stepped forward to offer help and support to those who felt vulnerable and isolated. The COVID 19 Group is still operating; the dedicated telephone number for residents is 07395 935 907.
If you have any concerns relating to life in Holme on Spalding Moor and you think the Parish Council should know about it then please do not hesitate to contact one of us, details are on this site. We are also looking for photographs of the village to use on this website; if you have any please forward them to the Clerk.
Finally, we are currently in the process of updating and renewing this website which has been out of use for a number of years. Please bear with us while we undertake this process to ensure that the information we use is both accurate and complies with current legislation. We appreciate feedback so if you spot any errors or omissions please get in touch.
