Squadron 101 were based at RAF Holme on Spalding Moor and Lancaster Bomber ED807 will be honoured later this year

On the 13th April 2022 it will be 79 years in 1943 a Lancaster Bomber (ED807) crew from 101 squadron, [who were then based at RAF Holme on Spalding Moor Airfield], crash landed into a field at Hasholme Carr Farm, on the south of the airfield. Sadly all the crew perished in the crash.

 

Families of those that perished in the crash contacted the HOSM Parish Council in 2021 asking if anyone could pinpoint the site of the crash.

The Government appointed auditors PKF Littlejohn LLP have completed their audit of the Parish Council Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR).  Please see the Annual Audit Tab under the Parish Council link on the Home Page.  It will be available to be inspected between 1 – 31 December 2020
